Can you post a pic of our e-ring? My band is high and thick but it was also custom, so I didn’t really have a choice with the wedding band b/c nothing out there pre-manufactured would be a good fit.

From what I’ve seen in shops etc, court shapes are no where near as domed as D profile wedding rings. The concept of ‘court’ from what I’ve gathered means an extra thickness on the inside of the band. But most engagement rings seem to be D profile (flatter on the inside of the band but domed on the oustide) so I guess for them to match you’d need a D profile band too. I know what you mean about seemingly light-weight rings found in stores though. Are you really truly averse to going down the custom route again? It just might make it easier for you if the same jeweller could make a band to completely match the profile of your engagement ring. For my size finger wedding bands seem to fall into the 2-4gram mark in normal stores which I’ve found ridiculously annoying as I like a heavier, chunkier feel, so I ended up getting mine custom made. How about trying a website where you can choose the weight of your ring? weddingrings-direct.com (sorry not sure how to hyperlink!) seems like a good one to try πŸ™‚ I wish you the best of luck!

My engagement ring weights 7 grams – I’m a sz 5.25. It’s an older setting – when they used more metal than now – at least that’s what the jeweler told me! I love that it is heavy – it feels substantial. It is 3.25 mm wide and I have not found a band yet. I will likely go with one that is 2mm, though. Good luck!

they have a pretty diverse collection of rings and I find a lot of them seem on the thicker side to me.

My wedding ring is dome… Its not very thick but not very thin either… Width wise is about 3mm… I got it at a local shop… Here is a picture… I can’t see the top of yours so IDK if this is something you would like with your ring or not…

Mine is thick and heavy, but has the diamonds in it. I wanted a thick ring too since I have a big fishtail/flower style enhancer on my e-ring. the band is 1ct half eternity if that helps.
