NOTE: Since I can’t ever seem to load pictures properly, all pictures and links can be found on my full post here. SORRY!
I have spent the past month or so scouring the Internet for dog-themed wedding inspiration stuff. The trickiest part to this search was weeding out the “cheesy” items and sorting through the nonrelated items Google pulled up (no, Google, Tiger Woods should not be the first thing I find when I search “doghouse”).
I am excited, though, to share with you a few awesome finds I have stumbled across.
First, thanks to Miss Pug’s Pawfect Wedding blog, I found The Wedding Dog–a company designed solely for those wanting to incorporate their furry friend into their wedding! They have so many cute photos of people incorporating their pets into wedding photos, they will soon be creating a boutique of wedding apparrell for your pets, and they offer engagement (save the date) photography.
I also found BarkTalk, a pet greetings company. I found their “We Do” invitation set to be especially cute.
Next, I found A Crafty Bride’s puppy love invitation set, which I AM. IN. LOVE. WITH. I only wish I could change the design of the invitation to give it a more formal feel. But, the silhouette approach really inspired me (more on this topic later) and I love the interactivity of the ball.
I found the an Etsy seller (mudcards) who creates such cute, personalized cake toppers.
Then there were examples of using dogs for table numbers.
Next, I’m hoping to find examples of using dogwood flowers in bridal bouquets, of telling guests that a donation was made in lieu of favors, of doggy-related treats, and of making a doghouse for the cardbox.
Have you used Google to find any great examples of tying your theme into your wedding?
