    Yes!! definitely!

    Still Undecided!

Not for the first one, but if I had others maybe

Not at all, it should be a surprise!

I’m very VERY impatient, so I plan to find out!

A couple other things: if you want it to be a surprise, say that at the beginning of EVERY doctor’s visit to EVERY person reading your file or speaking to you.  Nurses, techs, phlebotomists, and doctors sometimes forget to read the file (just the part saying you DON’T want to know!) and will refer to the baby as “him” or “her” and ruin the surprise.  Have to throw that out there for all you ladies “Waiting” in “Nesting.”

    also

If you DO want to know, consider investing in a 4D scan to be 100% sure of the gender.  Our doc indulged us (free of charge) and made sure it was a girl.

we found out the baby’s gender and i’m really happy we did. aside from the obvious [name choices, nursery decor, registry items, etc.], finding out really helped me bound with the baby. i didn’t expect it, but once we found out it was like she had an identity. she became more real to me and to my husband as well. it was a real turning point for us in terms of how we felt + thought about the baby.

I’m so OCD that I would want to plan every single thing according to the baby’s gender, so I would for sure want to find out.  Me no likey surprises!  LOL

What is the difference between a 3D and 4D scan? The 3D one already looks like a picture to me!

I go back and forth on this issue. I think it would be such a fun surprise for our first baby but then again I’m not a fan of the gender neutral colors and would want to have the nursery ready and I love things monogrammed so I would probably want to know! I think in the end I’ll get to anxious and have to know!

I’m not pregnant, and not trying, but my husband and I have talked about this and we both definitely want to know ahead of time. We either want names narrowed down to two or three choices, or we want to name him/her early on 🙂 We also feel like the name/personality in the womb will dictate decor for the baby’s room.

I voted for yes!! definitely. (I’m not pregnant and I don’t have any kids yet). I would want to know so that I knew what to name him/her. I would also like to have the nursery in either blue or pink. I’m really excited about having my future children. Yes I’ve heard it’s the most painful experience but I’m sure it would be worth while to have a such a blessing in my arms. A gift from God.

My mom had surprises with both my brother and me.  I always thought that was fun and that I would like to be surprised too.  Generally, I hate surprises because it means I don’t get to look forward to the fun things, but in this case, I could look forward to the baby and be surprised – the best of both worlds!

I found out before hand that my first child was a girl.  I think if I have a second baby that I would like to be surprised next time.
