So I am 5’9 and my fiancé is 5’8 🙂 the height difference isn’t as noticeable when I am wearing regular shoes, but I do wear wedges sometimes and kitten heels which makes a considerable difference. I am not necessarily insecure about the height difference, and not that he cares, but I’d prefer us to not have people focusing on my tallness and his shortness when we are up at the altar 😁 I didn’t really want to wear flats however because there’s some sexiness to walking in the elevation of heels, but even kitten heels will show off our height.
Anyone know of a designer who makes cute flats or heels with a microheel (if there is such a thing)?? Any suggestions would be much appreciated 😊 I also looked on etsy and found some decent ones, but I’m not sure about return policies!
Just to give an idea this is close to what we look like when I wear heels 😊 no shade to Eniko or Kevin, she’s beautiful and I love them both as a couple!

I wore flats. DH and I are the same height, and like you, I didn’t want to be way taller than him in pictures. I also liked that flats were comfortable enough to wear all day. Don’t get hung up on “bridal” shoes. You can really wear whatever shoes you want. I got some sparklely gold flats, but they were just from DSW, which doesn’t really sounds like what you are after.

I’m wearing flats. Fiance and I are so close in height and I don’t want to be taller than him and I wanted to be comfortable as well, and it’s no secret that heels are not comfy.

I am 6’2 and will certainly be wearing flats next year, for a number of reasons but am VERY picky about shoes! Many designers make beautiful flats including “Bibi Butterfly” by Sophia Webster, the Versace “Palazzo Ballerina” flat, the Christian Louboutin “Follies Spikes” flat, and the Valentino “Rockstud” Ballerina. They all come in loads of colors but these are the ones I’m choosing between at the moment, hope the photos give you some inspiration. Apparently I really like pointed toes. They’re all pricey but I’d easily wear any of these as a comfy dressy every-day date sort of shoe after the wedding so that’s one benefit of flats.

I wore these flats by Vera Wang from David’s Bridal 🙂

Im 6’1″, and my new husband is 5’10”. You should be able to away with a micro heel thanks to his dress shoes adding a bit of height. I wore flats, bought from a local boutique though that where beauiful and I wouldnt have changed for the world! Ive noticed alot of cute bridal flats on bhldn.com lately. Ive attached a picture of my wedding to show you how close in height we where because of his dress shoe!
