Yeah, we have had a few trolls lately before these.  But I really try not to doubt people unless they do something that obviously sounds completely fake or picks fights with people over hot button topics.

I haven’t checked these yet, so I’m not accusing any of these threads, but I do know that there are a few boards out there that like to poke fun at WB to stir the pot, so any strange activity could be just via those people.

Otherwise, some things can be genuine, so I guess just take everything with a grain of salt.

I know what you mean…the 16 yr old thread – I’d bet money that was a troll.

The others I’m not sure about, The thing is though, I wouldn’t want to call someone out for being a troll because it might not be. I just stop following the thread once I think it’s a troll.

Trolls are people who are trolling on other boards to stir up trouble or look for things to bring back to their websites to make fun of.

We do have some yucky forum that follows the boards on here just to rip us apart. They got found out around Christmas, and I do wonder if it is some of those people coming over and stirring shizzle up.

I have commented on one of the above threads, and as soon as I did it, I thought “hang on a minute, not all of this feels right”.

Who knows. There are some sad people in this world

I haven’t kept up with them, but I did check out the original posts on all three. I don’t think there is anything to suggest they are doing anything but asking for advice. I’d rather assume they’re real and be wrong then accuse a genuine person of trolling.

I think with a reputation such as WeddingBee it’s not surprising that we get troll posts. And I’m surprised we don’t get them more often. But I do agree that I did raise an eyebrow at some of the posts on the topics you posted up there, Charm.

I’m not sure why they keep doing it since we don’t get riled up like ‘those knotties’ lol.

I dunno, i figure if 9 out of the 10 are trolls, what about that one sad person who’s life is so bad they just need advice?

I’d rather comment on 9 troll’s pages just to get to that 1 person if that makes sense.

Who knows?!

Yeah, you would think our advice would be pretty boring to them. Hopefully they’ll get bored and go homeSmile

Out of the three the 16yr old’s post seemed the fishiest to me. But, If he was truly swayed by our comments then I guess we have more power then we thought.

And who knows, sometimes the craziest stories are true.
