LVoeBride:  You are likely to get more of your china if you register for open stock. Yes it is a bit more expensive per place setting, but of you don’t register for open stock, there are very less people who would buy the whole set. If someone does buy the set of 4 place settings, your other guests wil be able to see that and adjust their shopping accordingly.

Not only woud I register for the bowls, I would register for a few extra pieces as things do get broken and if it is discontinued, you won’t be able to replace it otherwise.
