I’m curious what the average ring finger size is! I’m an Aus K 1/2 on both sides
The poll options are US, Canada size equivalent (I’m too lazy to type out letters 😛
If you don’t see your size/know the equivalent the link should help 😉
ETA: I tried posting a table but the formatting was dodgy

I’m anything from 5-6, depending on the weather; I had mine done at 5.5, which is what I am in average weather/heat conditions. If it’s VERY cold, it will be slightly loose, if it’s very hot, it will be tight. I was originally going to go for 5.25, but I tried it on when it was warm, and my finger swelled around it, so I went up in size slightly.

I’m a fat and happy 8.5-9… I voted the 8.75-9 since I probably could go up to a 9 and not lose the ring, but I like it snug.

I’m a 5, but I can get between a 4 and 5 on. My ring is a 5.25 so it’s not tight in the hot weather.

I’m a 4.5! But even that’s a little loose when it’s cold.

Is there a relationship between dress size and finger size? I am a tiny person but have a big ring size from what I have just measured (unless I am doing it wrong!)

8.25… after 33 years on this planet, I am still trying to make peace with my fat fingers. I strongly dislike my hands. :/

I chose 4.25,4.5,4.75, because my ring was a 4.75 but due to massive ammounts of spin and slack we had it made into a size 5 with large sizing balls that bring it to about a 4-4.25 with the slack of a 4.5. My actual size is about a 4 though maybe a little under, but a 4.5 is difficult to get off when my hands swell. I have major issues with swelling but the 4.75 was giving me major issues with spin and slack when they weren’t swollen. I was actually afraid I could lose the ring in the winter. We felt sizing it up and adding balls would be the best option. Its pretty hot today and I just got the ring back. I can get it off despite the heat so I think we found a happy medium.

Depends on the weather. My e-ring is a size 7 but it’s a bit loose and sometimes spins unless it’s humid and hot outside. I’d say I am a size 6.5 now, but I’m debating whether or not to get it resized because it’s perfect when my finger is warm.
I always assumed around here, the average size was 7, as in stores, that’s the generic ring size they have.

@alsgirl: 5.5 but I get my rings sized to 5.75 to account for swelling in the summer/when I am in hot places.

5.25, but when it’s hot I feel like I should have gotten a 5.5 (it would fall off in the cold if I got a 5.5 though)

I have really, really tiny hands and fingers – very dainty and delicate. I was sized at a 2.5 during one of our shopping trips, but my boyfriend joked about my “size zero finger”, it was so cute! He also joked that even a tiny diamond chip would look huge on me, but I don’t need to worry about that, lol. I told him that if he wants me to say yes (and he does!), then 2+ carats is what he needs to be looking at.

I’m a 4, but only because of my knuckle. I think I probably should be wearing a 3.75 to really fit my finger properly, but it’d never come off.

I wear an 8. Though the ring I wore from my ex Fiance was a standard shop size… which is a 7. I’ve been losing weight so hopefully I’ll be in a size 7 again soon hahaha.
