This is such a great idea! I’m sure you could come up with something creative to say on your own. 🙂

One thing I’m not clear on, do the books come with the hats, arms legs printed , or do people add their own additions to their fingerprint?

If it’s the latter:

PLEASE INK YOUR FINGER AND PRINT IT WITHIN THE SQUARE

PLEASE SIGN YOUR NAME,THAT’S SO WE’LL KNOW YOU WERE THERE

ADD SOME ARMS AND SOME LEGS AND MAYBE A HAT

YOU’VE CREATED PRINT PEOPLE, AND THAT’S WHERE IT’S AT!

alternative last line

MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU, ‘CAUSE THAT’S WHERE IT’S AT!

@julies1949:  I’m pretty sure the book would just have the lines in it, and the guests would add the finger prints and turn them into people.

Also, have your bridal party or family sign it beforehand (and show them the picture), so the rest of the guests have an idea on what you are asking of them.

This is SOOO freaking cute. I like the couple sayings above. Maybe you can start it at your rehearsal dinner with your family and bridal party. That way on the big day, people will have a visual of what they are supposed to do. That is what we did with our finger print tree- we just had to tell the people at our rehearsal what to do and from there it turned it beautifully at the wedding without us worrying if people will know what to do.

Possibly a bit late to reply, but will everyone be open to this? Some paranoid types might not want their fingerprints “on file”. Also, getting ink on their fingers might annoy them. I agree it’s cute, but I’d ask around if people think this is a wise idea.
