@weddingbound: A dog thread jack is always acceptable in my book! I looove seeing your pictures. I take more pictures of my dogs than anything else. Kiiiinda obsessed. I bet having the 2 at once was interesting.
Bently’s face is amazing and I think the 2 red pits are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I hope to have my own collection started soon and I will for sure share!

@weddingbound: Major kudos to you ladies for fostering! I have always wanted to foster but my Fiance is NOT a huge dog person so he would struggle very much having dogs inside. It’s always been a dream of mine, I mean I live on a farm! Hopefully one day he will see the light!

So, we were approved to foster and passed the home check. Brock’s previous foster family brought him up to us to do a meet and greet with our dogs. It was iffy. Brock is super sweet with people but, very aloof with dogs. He was a little growly with both my dogs. However, the former foster said he got along great with her dogs so he isnt entirely unfriendly towards all dogs.
We decided to take him over night and work with him some more to see if he would warm up a bit. The next day it only got worse. Although I feel like eventually it would have been fine, I couldnt put my dogs safety at risk. I feel a bit guilty that it didnt work out but I know it was for the best. Brock was able to temporarily go back to his old foster home.
I spoke with the woman who runs the rescue. If we do adult dogs they need to be more confident and playful I think. But, we are most likely going to do puppies!!
If anyone in the MD, PA area is looking to add a super sweet pup to their family, here is the link. Or contact me and I can facilitate something with the rescue.
