I’m not sure what veil I want to order with my lace ballgown!
Choice A: Scallop Trim Lace
Choice 2: Raw Lace Trim
Choice C: Some plain tulle – since my dress is very lacy?
Here is a reference picture for my dress:
Any feedback would be much appreciated! <3

Beautiful dress! I voted plain, just so it didn’t take any lacy attention away from the dress, and so you don’t have any chance of the lace looking like a different color or design that doesn’t match… I don’t know why, but I was pretty worried about clashing lace between my dress and the veil, but that might be just me!

Yes I think plain would be best for that dress! So lovely!

@whimsy85: I voted 2, think it will go well with the lace on your dress, but the best thing you can do is try them all on – such a chore I know

@NowDontLetsBeSilly: Thanks – Good point about the lace clashing! I tried to match it the best I can based on the picture, but there is still the risk it won’t match. I am starting to lean more towards tulle now. Unfortunately, there are still so many options (raw trim, beaded trim, ribbon trim).. maybe time for a second poll soon!

@CatyLady: Thanks for your feedback! I wish I can try them all on together, but I am ordering the dress and veil online. Maybe I will order the veil separately once the dress comes in.

@whimsy85: Good idea as you don’t want the lace to clash as @NowDontLetsBeSilly: said.

I have an all lace dress too. I decided to go with plain tulle. I didn’t want the veil to compete with the dress, just complement it. This is just my preference.
If you do decide to go with a lace trim, I wouldn’t worry about it clashing as long as it’s the same style lace and then it will blend in. No one is going to take a magnifying glass to it, it’s the overall look you need to worry about.
It’s a really pretty dress, btw.
