I pretty much was like that prior to my engagement. Hubby had the ring (we picked it out together) for FOUR MONTHS before proposing!

It was AGONY! (at the time!) But my nails had never looked better!

I was about 90% sure that Fiance would propose on Christmas Day. I finished my job for vacation on Dec 23 and THAT NIGHT got a manicure.

Totally worth it since everyone will be staring at your hands 🙂

I had no idea and the day of I ripped my fake nails off because they were bothering me. So he proposed and I had to take pictures with my nails all kinds of aweful. Perfect  timing babe. Lol

I have this huge phobia of ever having chipped nails (one chip, whole manicure comes off straight away), so if he doesn’t keep this in mind, there will be NOT ONE PHOTO until the nails are done!

I’m thinking it might be a nice relaxation strategy to have a manicure a week until this waiting business is over…

I’ve been making sure that my nails are painted ever since Boyfriend or Best Friend and I had our ring made. It’s been a month. I may need to buy more nail polish before this whole thing is done….

I’m so glad I’m not the only one!! I can’t paint my nails due to my job but I bought a nail buffer a couple of weeks ago and have started using it religiously since we ordered my ring! My nails are so shiny. It came with cucle oil and hand lotion so my hands are practically unrecognisable. Shame about the ever-present cat scratches (I have a very cuddly but skittish cat).

I have always been neurotic about my nails, but I find I was more so with a potential proposal looming. I am hyper vigilant now that I have my ring to make sure my nails look nice. This ring is too gorgeous and I don’t want to take away from it’s beauty with chipped nails!

I used to pick my nails like crazy. It’s a very gross and annoying habit that I thought I couldn’t break. However, once the ring was in the house… it was time to stop picking, time to get manicures, time to start lotioning up. I totally did this, and I’m glad I finally broke my bad habit!

This is sooo me! I bought cuticle and nail oil. I file them and apply clear coat all the time and lather them up with lotion so they look and feel pretty! I even bought a mini tweezerman nail resuce set for my purse. I am glad I am not the only one!!!

I started doing my nails more regularly when he first picked up the ring… have given up now. I am so bad on my nails and the nailpolish usually chips within an hour!
