- Wedding: May 2012 - El Faro Convention center, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
It’s 11pm on Friday night and I’m staring at my notebook and Organic Chemistry book, trying to will the information into my brain. Obiously it’s not happening…I keep opening random web pages and facebook with no aim in mind. I have a test on Monday but I keep focusing on the meeting I have tomorrow with the DJ, my first dress fitting on Sunday and on My E-pic shoot which is also on Sunday. I just cant concentrate on studying. It’s realllllyyyy important I do well on this test and I know that. Then why can’t I just be a grownup and sit down and study!!!
Rant is Over… Now do you guys have any suggestions?

@boaconstrictor: I am taking grad classes online (for a certificate, so it is even harder to care) and I am having the same problem — I can’t focus on writing papers. So what I do is write for five or ten minutes, then browse/do something wedding related for five or ten minutes, and then go back to writing.
For studying, I would look at what you need to know, make a list, and then go from there. Start at the top. Work on orgo (that’s what we called it at my school) for twenty minutes, then call the DJ. Work on orgo for twenty minutes, then do something else. That way you won’t feel guilty for not studying, and you’ll know you’re also getting the wedding stuff done!
