(Closed) Finishing up birth classes at 37 weeks?

    I found those pregnancy classes to be relatively useless. Dragging your husband along is even more so. Going to a couple of sessions and asking specific questions is what I did and it was quite sufficient. You and your husband will learn how to care for your baby pretty fast without classes, believe me.

    I think you will be fine. And the bottom line is – if you DO go into labor beforehand, that baby is coming out one way or the other. Your body will know what to do regardless of any classes you took! If you end up needing a c-section or even asking for pain meds, all will be fine with you and the baby! 🙂

    kb7:  Nope! I rather he misses 2/6 than I miss even 1/6  in case of early labour.

    Ours was booked in for the Saturday of me being 37 weeks but baby arrived the day before so we missed it. I had a far from normal delivery though as had planned a home birth but had to have an emergency c-section.
