I caught a glimpse of my rings this morning, as they sat in the sun… I know the fire in moissanites is not for everyone, but I personnaly think it’s stunning. [E-ring and straight baguette bands are all moissanites, princess cuts band all diamonds]
I decided to get my mom’s ring and put it next to mine to see how the stones disperse sunlight differently.
This is my mother’s dainty ring, 3 princess cut diamonds. I don’t know the specs but I know they’re beautiful stones. The center stone is .5 and I believe .25 for each side stones, set in platinum, from Blue Nile
Next is my ring, near colorless Neo cushion as a center stone, 2 carat equivalent, tapered baguettes are Supernova moissanites (idk the specs), set in 14k white gold, from Jhollywooddesigns.
Please post your rings to show how they disperse light, regardless of the stone(s) you have. I hope this post will stay a friendly one 🙂 where we can all show our appreciation of various stones for their individual properties!
Happy Sunday bees!!!

I’ve always loved the pics other bees post showing those flashes of color but I’ve not had much luck catching it on my princess cut diamond. I finally caught this flash a month or so ago!
all those rings are lovely, especially like that last on with your and your mother’s rings together. 😍

I see the rainbow colors in my diamond in different lights but for some reason I can never capture it in a photo! These show the light at least and I love the way it disperses!
both yours and your mom’s rings are stunning! I’m a big fan of 3-stone rings of all shapes 🙂 thank you for posting the two stones side by side, they are certainly both beautiful stones with their own unique qualities!

I hope my photos aren’t appearing huge on here, it looks small from my phone, but if if they are I apologize!

I only picked mine up yesterday so I’m still discovering all the ways and places it catches the light. The kitchen turns out to be quite a good spot.

This is from the night we got engaged, I took this pic and was laughing when it hit the light so perfect you couldn’t even see it!
I took these this morning, the diamond really does perform well, lots of rainbow sparkles in the light and I LOVE when you see the reflection on the walls!
