I have less than a month before my daughter turns one. I want to make a slide show with photos and video clips set to music. Has anyone done this before? Or even for your wedding? Any tips? Any software you liked (or hated)? And any upbeat songs that you think would be appropriate? I just wanted to make it one-song long so as not to have folks slip into a coma. And didn’t want a tear fest. Thanks!

I would say either Powerpoint for Windows or Keynote for Mac would be totally great!

MY husband said that the two he has used and liked are power direct x and nero. He said the only way to get the first one is to download it from the internet illegaly but he loved it. He did this one first but he has another couple on his facebook that are really good. I’ll PM you a link to my favorite. I’m not sure if you can see it if you aren’t his friend though.

I did one for my baby and I used Windows Movie Maker. I did photos and video clips to the “Here Comes the Sun” instrumental.
It was really easy to use and whenever I didn’t know how to do something like mute one of my videos, I found the answer after a quick Google search.

I second windows movie maker. Super simple and usually comes free with most computers. You can even just pick a song and use the “music video” function and it’ll sync everything up for you.

I third Windows Movie Maker, lol! For songs, maybe something by Jack Johnson?
