Totally normal.  Most doctors won’t do anything until after 90 days.  You can test if you’re worried, but likely your body will take awhile to sort itself out and start ovulating again.

I agree with Maple Becky. Some people are lucky enough to immediately get back on track with their cycles after going off BC, but some aren’t. I have been on and off the pill for 10 years, and it usually takes me about 6-7 weeks to get a period. Some people on here have said it took 6-7 months. I think if you were regular before going on BC you’ll have an easier and quicker time getting back on track, but if you were irregular, really anyone’s guess.

Good luck though, I know it is so frustrating trying to figure out where you are in your cycle.

I would say it’s pretty normal. I just came off BC after 10 years on, and my first cycle was 36 days. I told myself I’d wait until 40 to test, and 60+ to see a doctor since a lot of girls on here told me it could be a while before your body gets back on track!

My doctor told me to call after CD35 if I didn’t get a period but I do have PCOS!

My doctor was really busy with vacation and such that I don’t have an appt until Sept 6th! Today is CD72!!!!

It took me 3 months off the Nuva Ring to get a period and even then it was REALLY, REALLY light.  I didn’t get a normal period until 8 months or so after I came off.
