- Wedding: June 2011
Hi. My wedding is only 10 days away, and I am taking pains to figure out what to do about dance at the reception. As of now, I am determined I am skipping both the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance, because there is no way that my father will dance with me, and this deters the mother-son dance as well. I am also sure that a bridal party dance is not a good idea for my bridal party. 6 bms and 6 gm have never met each other, and asking my girls to learn a choreographed dance a day before the wedding is too much.
So I have only the first dance scheduled to happen at the reception. After I and my FH dance, the floor will be open to the entire guests. Do you think that I am cutting dow too many traditional dances? Will my reception be boring?
