I’ve still got some time to decide on this but my two front runners for our first dance song is Marry Me by Train and Divide Me by Kalai.
Im sure Marry Me has been used countless times but I still love love love the song. The first time i ever heard it I told myself this song would be a my wedding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrESyJnQu6I
Divide me is a song new to me this year. I can’t even remember where I heard it first but i really love this song too. It just makes me feel so at peace and in love. No one i have asked has seemed to of ever heard this song, that might be a good thing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54pf1I3cBBY
Fiance and I don’t really have a song. If anything it’s Stuck Like Glue by Surgarland. But I would not want that to be our first dance.
Which one do you like?

@soontobehisbride: I do love Marry Me by Train but I voted for Kalai- Divide Me as it is something that is different and not too many people will be using if they don’t know about it! I like originality! Maybe you can incorporate Marry Me into your wedding like just a slow dance song somewhere in the night so that you have both at your wedding! My fiance and I don’t really have a song either, we chose a song last night FINALLY haha since its been a back and forth finding songs until we finally found one we could agree on!

@soontobehisbride: We found a version of the song called “Fresh Feeling” by Eels that we both liked.
Some of the songs we went back and forth on were (incase anyone out there needs some ideas):
Teenage Dream covered by Boyce Avenue
Inevitable by Amberlin
Kiss from a Rose by Seal
1.2.3.4 by The Plain White T’s
Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
I’ll wait by Mumford and Son’s – we tried to find a slow version but couldn’t and its way too fast for a slow dance
