We’re using ‘Paint My Love’ by Michael Learns to Rock.

It’s been ‘our song’ for years and Fiance actually had it playing in the background when he proposed.

The words are gorgeous and it’s slow enough 🙂

We went with “I’m Yours” by Joel Plaskett. It was perfect. It was a good speed and not too long.

janeblack :  Just stay clear of “single ladies”  “brick house” and “the chicken dance” and your music will be a step up from almost every other wedding Ive ever been to

We have a faster tempo song that isn’t a usual 1st dance song. It’s “life is better with you” by Michael Franti and spearhead. I love the lyrics, and more upbeat music suits us   . I always sing this to my Fiance.

Had a hard time choosing between Lovesong -311/The Cure and what we ended up choosing, You Are The Best Thing – Ray LaMontagne (slightly upbeat as well but it was perfect.)

FI’s always wanted our first dance to be to “Blue Moon” by Frank Sinatra, so that’s what it shall be! 🙂

janeblack :  our first dance song was I Get To Love You by Ruelle. First time I heard it on the radio I cried. I love the lyrics.
