adriannenf :  I am really struggling with this – we are getting married this upcoming October.  I really loved “Stand by Me” by Florence and the Machine and my fiance hated it (go figure).  I’m still waiting on his picks, as I told him I can’t read his mind, LOL.

We are dancing to “Fools Rush In” by Elvis. (we think we are gonna do that version). We’ve been together 4 years but we just love that song. “The Way You Look Tonight” was also a top contender.

Dave Matthews band has a new song that i loved but I love Dave Matthews ( a lot of people don’t) its called “Here On Out”

I am trying to figure out what to walk into the reception to!!! If anyone has suggestions I’ll take them

krm1984 :  We’re actually thinking of doing the original version of “Stand By Me” for our first dance! It really is such a beautiful simple song.

We did Apple Juice by Jessie Reyez. It described us perfectly and it was really important to me to not have the same stuff you hear at every wedding. I also really love Naked by Ella Mai but it’s a little edgy for a first dance, depends on your guests.

My Fiance and I will be dancing to “You’re the One” by Greta van Fleet. We are doing a fox trot type dance to it so it’s slow and sweet. There’s one line in it that is questionable (…”you’re evil, you oughta know”)but we think it’s funny so we’re going with it.

We used Led Zeppelin’s “Thank You”- Darling Husband is a huge classic rock fan and it’s a really sweet song. I’ve never heard of anyone else using it and it’s definitely “slow and sweet”! These are the opening lyrics:

If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
When mountains crumble to the sea
There will still be you and me
