Into the Mystic by Van Morrison…it has some really cool instrumentals, so we are hoping to get some good ideas at ballroom dance lessons!

“I Cross My Heart” by George Strait

For as long as I can remember, I have ALWAYS wanted to dance to this song at my wedding. I remember being a little girl and telling my Daddy that I would dance to it at my wedding. Luckily, my FH loves it also!

We’re doing “It’s Your Love” – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Not country fans…but it just reminded us of us!

right now it’s between baby i’m yours by Artic Monkeys or I’d rather be with you by Josh Radin. Both songs are so sweet and it’s so hard to choose!

@kayakgirl73 – I wanted to do that song, but Fiance vetoed that song because he doesn’t like Jack Johnson. Frown

So we decided on When I’m Sixty-Four by The Beatles.  Classic Beatles which means quick and sweet!

@AnamCara: FH and I practice in the dining room all the time- mostly because it has wood laminate and barely enough space for free spins and moon spins (both of which will probably be used in our dance)

We’re using a live version, sung by the vocalist of our band, of Natalie Cole’s arrangment of “Orange Colored Sky”. We felt it was the least overt (compared to Indigo Swing’s “Violent Love”) and could allow for some fun styling (see previously mentioned moon spin/quick stop).

Into the mystic by Van Morrison is our first song and we are doing a choreographed dance to it. Immediately afterwards we are dancing to Thats how Strong my love is-Otis Redding. That song is much slower…cant wait! only 50 more days for me!

We are dancing to Stand by me by Prince Royce. It’s a nice bachata and is in both English and Spanish. :  ^  )

Ours is “At Last” by Etta James. I LOVE this song and secretly I always wanted it to be my wedding song. An magically the first dance we ever danced was at his cousins wedding and it was to this song, now how meant to be is that! We both love it and its speacial that we can say it was to our first dance ever and its going to be to our first dance “of forever.”

 WOW I’m tearing up!!
