I can’t decide!!!
I can’t decide!!!
we chose the luckiest by ben folds
You are the best thing – Ray LaMontagne
We plan on using Frank Sinatra “It Had to be You”
Change the World- Finger Eleven
Live cover of the Natalie Cole arrangment of “Orange Colored Sky”
“Keeper of the Stars” by Tracy Byrd
“The First Day of My Life” by Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes)
But then again, it is our song, so there wasn’t another choice.
Marry Me by Train. My sister went to a Train concert last year and she told me to listen to it because it was such a pretty song. I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. Now, its all over the radio and my wedding is in 3 months. Ohhh well, I still love it even if its going to be overplayed lol.
I want ours to be to “Out of the Woods” by Nickle Creek. Our first real vacation together was to Gatlinburg and he bought that CD downtown and we drove around the entire week listening to it. It has such deep meaning to me personally. During that time, he was still angushy from his divorce, and didn’t know if he wanted to be in a serious relationship with anyone. And the lyrics fit so well the way I felt about him:
“I wish you out of the woods/and into a picture/with me./ I wish you over the moon/come out of the question/and be.”
We haven’t decided if we are doing one or not but if we do it will be to “Ain’t That A Kick in the Head” by Dean Martin.
I think we’re doing Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton but the version with Wyclef where there’s a reggae beat to it. Fiance loves reggae and Eric Clapton and I’ve always loved this song!
We’re using “Marry Me” by Train too!! Other top contenders were “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele and the Van Morrison version of “Have I Told You Lately”
