I think it’s perfect. You did a great job. I like your lip color as it is — esp as it looks in the top picture. I’d just try to find something along those lines, but a little darker.

beautiful, you did a great job!!

as for the lipstick colour, what colour are your flowers and accent colours.  i see too many times, great make-up jobs but the make-up/lipstick colours are clashing with everything else (bm dresses, flowers, etc).  this shows up in pictures.  keep all of your make-up and accessories in the same colour family; if your flowers are pink with blue undertones, wear pink with blue undertoned coloured make-up. most brides don’t even think about it.

also, i think you could totally pull off a darker lipstick too (if you wanted to).

Great job! You look awesome. I would say a nice nude, very close to your natural color lip gloss would be lovely.

Your eyes are gorgeous but have you tried winging out the eyeliner more?

It looks awesome!  I would like a more nude, soft pink for the lips.

It looks great! I would try to extend the white/light color a little under your eyes, it’ll make them pop out more and make them softer at the same time. You could also do a slightly lighter base so the dark eyeshadow stands out a little more. I like a color that’s similar to your lips, maybe a tad darker!

I’m thinking about your make up and how it will show up in photographs. It looks really good so far. You have really nice lashes to begin with so I don’t think you need to use full falsies. You should use the half. Don’t forget to curl ur lashes and use mascara even with the half falsies =) Dot a little highlighter at your tear duct, a little under the arch of your brow, and the bottom of the outer corners of your eyes. This will help give you a fresh bright-eyed look, as well open your eyes up. I am in love with the Laura Geller Double Eye Appeal Pencil. It’s my absolute favorite thing in my make up bag. The nude cream side goes under your eyes to hide any dark circles or baggies, and the highlighter end is so easy for dotting your tear duct. It’s definitely a great investment. I usually don’t wear make up, but if I’m looking especially tired, I don’t do anything but cover my dark circles with the nude end, and highlight the essential parts with the highlighter end, and I look instantly fresh.

You’ll want to contour your face a little more. Sweep shimmer or illuminating bronzer where the sun “hits” your face, along your jaw line, your nose, and above your brows. I like to pair the smoky eye with a nude lip color so the focus stays on the eyes, and your face doesn’t look too busy. It’s a neutral so you won’t even have to worry about it clashing with any of your colors. Use a nude lipstick, and then dot the center of your lips with lipgloss. This makes your lips look fuller 😉

@Shlieka:  wow that was amazing advice!  I think for the first trial you did pretty well.  Maybe play around with what Shlieka said and re post pics!

I would go with a nude to nude-pink lip, looks great with a matte foundation and nice smoked out eyes (which you did beautifully while staying subtle btw!!). Wouldn’t change a thing with the eye makeup! (Except lashes of course, because who doesn’t want some extra drama)
