It really only matters what you like, but I think #1 is gorgeous. I’ve seen it on the boards before and it gives me a teeny bit of dress regret.

I think #1 gives you a much more flattering shape. You can keep that in mind and still find something with the ruffles and ruching like the second dress has.

@cwedding14:  Congrats on your engagement! I, personally, think the first gown makes your waist look tiny and the second widens your hips.  However, I think the second gown is prettier.  Hope that makes some sense.  Good luck and take your time deciding!

I really like the first one — but you’ve got so much time, so don’t rush into it!  You’ll definitely find one that you really know is your dress!

@cwedding14:  I have the same type of hourglass body shape, and drop waists were always horrid on me. Find things that show off that great waist of yours!

Alfred Angelo 2314. It was my second runner up because I didn’t like the ruffles as much. Might be right up your alley!

I much prefer the first one on you! I think its gives you a lovely tiny waist and really enhances your figure! However if you felt beautiful in the second then more power to you!

I love the 2nd one on you the best!

it doesn’t look like the first one is fitted to you very well, but the overall silhouette is by far the most flattering.  My main problem with it is the horizontal lines created by the pickups.  Think of this as a starting point, and hold out for a dress that has the things you love most about both of these!  You need a dress that does justice to your fabulous curves!
