I was so worried because I had gained a few pounds, which I’m desperately trying to get back down. I was afraid it wouldn’t close or fit.
Luckily it did (although I’m still going to try to lose the pounds so I feel more comfortable overall), and the fitting went great! I have to go back in at the end of the month for the seamstress to finish the bustle, but at that point it will be pressed and steamed and I can take it with me!
I LOVE my dress so much. Capital letters are a must haha. For anyone who’s wondering, it’s a Mon Cheri from the Fall 2010 collection – Dion.

I love the beading and the lace on your dress! You look absolutely perfect! Don’t worry about those extra pounds. If you want to work on losing a little, you still have time, but if you don’t it will look perfect either way!

@Evie19: Hehe. I had lost 40 pounds before buying my dress, and I got it in a size 10. Since then I have gained about 7-8. I was up 5 when I first tried my dress on, so I figured it would fit. But I’m more petrified of the ‘losing control’ part and gaining back lots of weight. I had wanted to lose even more than the 40, but I’d be totally happy with just getting back down 3-5 so I can breathe a little easier and feel a little better. But I’m not going to starve myself over the next few weeks either. I’ll hit the gym and try to eat right as best I can. And I’m gonna eat Chick Fil-A on my wedding day, just because I want to.

You look awesome! what a beatiful dress! Don’t worry about the “extra pounds” if they come of then they do, if not, you still look amazing!
