Hive, I have my very first dress fitting TOMORROW and I’m stoked about it. I haven’t seen my dress since I picked it out in October, so I’m excited to be reunited!
Along with being excited though, I’m also nervous about making sure it goes well. I will only have 2 fittings before my wedding (one this month and one next) and I want to make sure I make the best use of that time. Does anybody have any dress fitting advice for me? Things you didn’t think of that you wish you had? Tips on making it successful and productive?

If you’re only having two I would def recommend bringing your day of shoes with you or at least something of the same height. Bring your undies if you’ll have something substantial underneath (like corset etc).
GL!! And take pics!!!

Oh gosh…my dress fitting always went great! The only thing I would MAKE SURE of is that you KNOW how to bustle your dress (we had a lot of trouble with that at my wedding & I had to KICK my dress around while dancing) & if you show any cleavage make sure it’s not TOO much…because while mine wasn’t…when I was dancing, I almost POPPED out a few times…haha! That wouldn’t have been good!
And above all, make sure your comfortable. Walk around in it a little. If you already have your shoes…put them on with your dress. If you’re getting a veil, put it on with the dress and make sure everything goes well together. And if you have jewelry, you could put those with the dress, too.
If I can think of anything else I’ll let you know! 🙂 Let us know how it goes girl! Take PICTURES!!!

Ahh yay your responses made me even more excited =) =)
I don’t have my ceremony shoes yet, but since I’m wearing my cowboy boots to the reception and they have a lower heel, I think we have to hem the dress somewhere in between the two, anyway.
Above all, I hope it fits….I was training for a marathon when I bought it, so I really hope I still fit into the size we ordered 5 months ago…
