My first dress fitting is in two weeks.
I don’t know a whole lot about bustles and I’m not really sure what would be best for my dress.
I really would like to maintain the look and shape of the dress. Any suggestions?
Also, I am going to need alterations in the bodice anyways because I have tiny boobs. Would it be better to have them change it to a lace up back?
Just wanted to get some opinions before I go into my appointment! Wish me luck ladies!

I think a French bustle would look pretty on your dress!

Beautiful dress! I think a french bustle would be great with that dress, so would just a simple under bustle.

I don’t really know anything about bustles so I’m afraid I’m useless with that…but in my opinion, I would leave the back as is.
BTW–gorgeous dress! You look great!

Very pretty dress! Sorry, I am as yet unfamiliar with bustles.

Have a multi point bustle, low to the hem (multi point French bustle, most likely is the easiest one). Don’t just have it gathered at one point.

@ellabee:Could you post a picture of a bustle similar to what you are describing?
