good News= Had my first fitting yesterday and I loveeeee my dress. Everytime I put it on, I am re-assured that I made the right decision on it!
Bad News= it is a trumpet gown and tight all the way to about the knees. When did I get chubby thighs? They are rubbing together for the first time ever and it made it pretty uncomfortable and hot!! Sorry if Too Much Information, but I was so sweaty and NEED advice on how to thin out my thighs. Here is the pic of me in the dress again, in case anyone wanted to see it! Thanks ladies!!!

I would suggest some cardio, and also thigh exercises. Squats, lunges, leg raises. . . that kind of thing. I am worried about my thighs in my trumpet dress too! I hope this helps you out. It looks like you have plenty of time before your wedding though.

@Keltaena: yes- it fits perfect everywhere (is a corsette which helps if a few lbs are lost or gained)… its not really too tight in the hips. The seamstress says it fits like a glove…but that doesn’t even matter when I feel like I have swighs ( kinda like swass but in a much nicer area ) eww. sorry.

@chittychittybanebane: You do look great! I have this one picture where I look like I have mammoth thighs, and I’m like WHY DID YOU LET ME THINK THIS LOOKED GOOD? If it’s still a problem, you can always get some spanx or any kind of light and tight material shorts. That’ll keep your thighs from rubbing together, anyway.

You look amazing in it first of all but if your wanting something to help with the rubbing together, Monistat Chaffing Gel is available at walmart for 5 bucks I believe. It’s great! It also can be doubled up as a makeup primer. 🙂
