    Keep the jewelry you have!

Go find something on Etsy or a vintage jewelry store!

    Find something different altogether.

I like the necklace you have on with your dress better than the rest of the jewelry. I’m not sure the earrings and especially the bracelet go with it though. I like matching sets though.

I really like the necklace you have, although not lukewarm about the earrings and bracelet. I think the shape of the necklace goes much better with your dress than the other would – the hanging pendant really flatters sweetheart necklines, straight necklines not so much.

Also, I love the metal you chose! It’s different than your typical bridal jewelry and stands out in a subtle way (if that makes sense). Totally compliments your skin tone and dress. I’m a little jealous. :3

You look beautiful!! You’ll look stunning no matter what you wear. 🙂

I love your necklace and earrings. The bracelet looks nice, but I personally think it doesn’t match the necklace and earrings. If I were you, I wouldn’t return the necklace and earrings, but I’d return the bracelet and keep looking for another one.

Those Jewelry you’ve found on Etsy look sort of too casual and cheap… You can have non-expensive looking jewelry, but it doesn’t mean wearing something that looks casual and cheap. Also, I’d also consider the quality… Don’t you want to keep your wedding jewelry as long as possible?

You can try http://www.bhldn.com/  or http://www.twigsandhoney.com/ to see whether there is anything you may like.  Good luck!!

you ultimately have to be happy. Be very apologetic express that you feel bad for returning it because of the time you spent together, but that you really don’t see yourself wearing it on your big day. It might be hard to express it to her but it won’t feel as bad as regretting what you wore On your wedding. I think a bride needs to LOVE everything about her look.

I personally love the necklace you bought from Nordstrom with that dress, but maybe would opt for different earrings or a bracelet. (Though, really, that’s neither here nor there if you don’t like it.)

As far as telling your Future Mother-In-Law, could you wait a few weeks? Then maybe you could approach it like the more you sat with it, the more you realized you weren’t feeling like the jewelry is really you and, since your wedding is still pretty far away, you’re thinking you may want to wait until closer to figure out what jewelry you’ll wear?

As someone who started planning and buying things way too early, I can attest to the fact that I changed my mind about A LOT of things. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t bought so many things so early. It gave me too much time to keep changing my mind! (And, of course, once one thing changed, other things had to change with it).

By the way, that dress looks a-mazing on you.

I like both sets equally. But I would not want to return the set you were gifted. It may cause issues and hurt feelings. Would it be worth to you to potentially hurt FMIL’s feelings?

While I like the jewerly, I am not sure if it goes with the dress. I bought pearls from this site http://www.pearlclasp.com and was very happy with their selection – and the quality was better than anything I saw at Nordstrom!

I agree with some of the others, big fan of the necklace, not so much the bracelet! Good luck though.

Keep what you have. Why pay more from costume jewerly than your actual wedding gown?

Two reasons you should keep the jewelry:

    1) ITS GORGEOUS!!! I love it!

    2) Your Future Mother-In-Law got it for you, which is awesome.
