I had a MC at 7 weeks, my cycle returned to normal inmediately, then got pregnant 4 months later . 2 years later I fell pregnant again, but that was a blighted ovum at 6 weeks, cycle retuned to normal inmediately, then I became pregnant 6 months later with this jellybean currently cooking. 22 weeks now.  Nothing wonky or different with my cycles in between. Everyone’s body is different of course, but I did read how spotting between periods is a sign of stress. You have been through a traumatic experience that sadly, many of us know well. If you continue to spot between periods, I would get it checked out since it’s not normal for you. Good luck Bee! I truly hope you get your sticky bean soon!

aschen :  I am sorry for your loss bee. I suffered a miscarriage in June and didn’t get a normal cycle until September and October. I hadn’t positive ovulation test at the end of October but never got my period. This isn’t unusual for me as I’ve always been irregular. Well fast forward to last night where I received a positive on two pregnancy test. We weren’t even trying as we are in the middle of wedding planning.

Anyway, don’t give up hope. The rumors of being extra fertile after a miscarriage might be true. Just try not to stress and keep trying.

aschen :  I should add. I went off the pill in feb and never got a period back – the doctor prescribed Provera for me in June/ July and 6 weeks later tested positive on a pregnancy test – I was worried maybe I needed the Provera again? But doctor said not too worry since I have been pregnant once – hopefully same for you !!! You have been pregnant once and cycle just needs to regulate

I had a MC in October, and the same thing happened to me! I had a relatively normal cycle, but started spotting 5 days before AF. The second cycle I started spotting 3 days before.

I went to an acupuncture person and told her, so we are working on regulating my cycles now. She thinks my blood wasn’t moving as well as before, and I’m partial to agree with her, based off of what my body felt like after our sessions.

Give your body some time to heal, but don’t be afraid to be firm with your doctor. My doctor wasn’t concerned at all, but I practically demanded a progesterone test, which I will take after I O this month. If everything is fine, no harm done on their end, right?

FX you get a BFP again soon!

aschen :  I used cyclogest, which is a vaginal suppository. Luckily I had enough from my doctor to use from ovulation, though technically he only told me to use it from BFP. Who knows if it helped but after a few months of feeling helpless I just had to feel like I was doing everything I could. I still feel like it could all go wrong at any time but we’re so much further along than we’d made it in the past.

That’s great you already have a son – you know your body can do this, it might just need a bit of help. Hopefully changing your meds is the answer! xx
