You’ve just described my fear! I’ve bee thinking about this a lot. My measurements were taken in March… it was summer here then. Now I’ve got a bit of winter padding happening, and my dress will arrive next month. Eeek!

They usually have you order the size that fits the largest of your measurements and there’s usually a little extra there, like maybe your waist is 27, but the sizes were for 26.5 or 28, so you got the one for a 28. You should be fine unless you specifically had them order you a dress too small.

I was scared of this as I think most people are, but I had infact lost weight. You’ll be OK I’m sure.

@londonchick:  I fluctuate like crazy too. I’m sure we’re all just imagining the worst case scenario and we’ll actually be fine!

I had nightmares about this…but as some other posters mentioned, they don’t order your EXACT measurements (mostly because they choose your largest area and order based on that – in my case, my hips!). When I went to my first fitting (six months later), the dress was too big. Hurrah! I wouldn’t worry about it too much!
