Morning bees!
So my dress finally arrived and yesterday I went to my first fitting! I was so concerned that I would not love the dress anymore but when I tried it on it looked amazing ! I felt excellent! But then my mum took photos and when I look at the photos I feel like the dress is not as flattering on my body as it appears in real life? In the photos my waist and hips look thicker set.
I need honest opinions Bees! What alterations need doing? I wish my waist could be taken in more but because it’s a very low back there’s no where to pull the dress in. I’m not wearing a bra so I look flat at the bust but the shop is ordering in a backless/strapless bra for the next fitting.
Apologies for the awkward hand position…

Wow. You look very shapely. I wouldn’t worry one bit! Go back with your bra and see what they can do if you want the waist a bit snugger but it must only need a tiny pinch as you look very slim in it already.

Don’t think about the pictures your mum took !! Most people who aren’t professionals cannot take a flattering picture of a person. The dress actually looks so beautiful on you and you just look like a flawless seamless Beauty. Such a beautiful shape – I also think you don’t need much padding in the boob area ( looks lovely the way it is – the pretty detail up the top end of the dress fits perfect and looks classy and elegant.

peoniesbaby :
I would alter the neck line.. either makimg it strapless or leaving lace straps but making it like sweetheart in the boob area.. cause right now there is just too much lace going on in the neckline in my opinion.

I have no suggestions bc I honestly think this is one of the best looking dress pics before a final fitting I’ve ever seen here. So I’m no help but it looks amazing on you. 😄 Don’t worry about the hand placement, I take awful posed pics 90% of the time. I’m either doing something weird with my arms and hands or worse, my face. 😅

You look beautiful, and remember that your mom took that pic with you at an awkward angle. That’s not straight on, it’s slight to the side but not at enough of an angle to be flattering, so you will look broader in a picture like that.
And still, you do not look broad!
Beautiful girl, beautiful dress, great figure:-)
