Ok ladies, I NEED YOUR HELP! I tried on what feels like a million dresses today and am having trouble narrowing it down. Please vote in the conveniently provided poll and any comments or suggestions are welcome 🙂 Also…please excuse the ill-fitting samples.
Dress #1: White by Vera Wang VW351011
Dress #2: Melissa Sweet 251002. By far my FAVOURITE, a little over-budget but amazing. I teared up a bit when the consultant put the veil on me. Please excuse the back fat and open xipper – the consultant did the hook at the top up so I could see how the bust would look properly fitted.
Dress #3: Another Vera Wang, but I don’t know the style number. This one is a sample and on sale.
Dress #4: This one I like to call “The Kennedy Dress”. Ivory satin, very simple and incredibly chic. However, it’s very heavy and hot, and I would take some crinoline out from the underskirt because its very poofy.
Dress #5: No idea who the designer is. Simple, white satin. Not at all what I thought I would like, but there you go! But, it looked a little cheap/shiny for my taste.
I’m planning on going back to David’s Bridal because I just can’t get that Melissa Sweet gown out of my head. Every one I tried on after that didn’t compare. It’s just a teeny bit over budget, but I could swing it. What do you think??

I love the Vera sale sample! I think it looks great on you and its really unique.

I personally love 2 and 4 on you. I think they fit your body the best and show off all the good qualities! 🙂
If I had to narrow it down, I’d probably say 4, but 2 is also great!

Honestly the first Vera Wang is not my favorite. I love the Melissa Sweet on you, and the fact that you have that reaction makes it even better. It’s a very delicate and womanly gown. I also liked the Vera Wang sample.

I love #3 too! The pattern is so gorgeous and the silouette is really really great on you.

I didn’t vote but wanted to say I’d take #3 and #5 out of the running. The other three are all fabulous and look wonderful on you.

IMO #4 is suuuuper flattering on you. Stunning and classic!

I love Dress #3!!!
Dress 1: I have seen that dress like 100 times. It’s not unique or special anymore to me.
Dress 2: It’s okay. I don’t know. Something about it looks a little bit prarie-nightgown to me. It’s alright, and would probably be my second pick, but I can’t get past the tiers looking like a tablecloth sort of.
Dress 3: LOVE THIS! It makes you look VERY slim, and your body looks amazing in it. It is special and looks floaty and wonderful. I would be wowed by this as a guest. Never seen anything like it.
Dress #4: It’s very traditional. It just is boring to me. It also looks like 99% of other dresses out there.
Dress #5: Looks like a deflated balloon. Why is it so limp? Not a fan.

I think #4 looks amazing on you and I dont even like ballgowns!
#3 is my runner up 🙂

# 4 in a landslide for me!

If you can’t get #2 out of your head, there’s a reason. Based on your reaction I’d encourage you to choose that one!

I think 4 is the most flattering.

@capitalbee: OH my goodness, #3 and #4 look amazing on you! I think they hit your waist in just the right spot, and give you a lovely hourglass figure. You’re gorgeous! (BTW, I voted for #3, but it was a total toss-up for me between #3 & #4 – I only chose 3 because you said #4 was a little heavy/hot.)
