I have just been sitting here procrastinating and looking back at when i started my wedding blog. I noticed, and my husband has made fun of me for it, that throughout my planning process, i had to change everything. My husband insists to our friends that everything i bought, i had to buy a second one too. I tried to defend myself, but i think he is right!
I bought a wedding dress, was not happy, sold it and bought another.
I bought a pair of shoes, was not happy, sold them and bought another pair.
I hired one photographer, was not happy, lost our deposit, and hired someone else.
I bought Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets in ivory, was not happy, sold half of them, bought more in white.
I bought jewelry to wear, was not happy, kept it, and bought more that I wore.
I bought a wine box, was not happy and one week before the wedding, I bought another one.
I committed myself to one travel agent, ended up switching to another.
I bought jewelry for my BMs, was not happy, so I bought more.
I bought one flower hair accessory for my hair, was not happy, and bought another.
Holy moly, i think that’s all, but now that i look at it altogether, even I think i am NUTS!!! Does this happen to anyone else?
Let me say that everytime i bought a “second” of something, i was SOOOO happy with it and SOOOO happy I switched! So I have no regrets about anything I had for my wedding. but i probably could have saved quite a bit of money. because even when i sell stuff, you don’t get back the full price you paid!
