So I haven’t seen the $150 venue I’m still really excited about yet (well not since I was like 16) but I am pretty sure there is no good way for me to arrive and not be seen by everyone. I had always assumed I’d walk down the aisle and that would be the first time el fianceo would see me…but I think we’ll see each other before the ceremony.
So how does that work? Do I get all ready and then be like, “Poopy-head, I’m herrrrreeee!” and he’s all, “AW, honey bunch!”

Haha your post made me laugh. If you speak to the venue and somehow it’s unavoidable (which I would really do some planning before you completely rule out seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony) then you can do an actual planned first look with your photog. You don’t have to just show up and he’s there and you’re just there together lol.

So there isn’t a place that you can hide out from your Fiance until the ceremony? Are you against a first look? If so and there isn’t a place to hide you could always hang out in the car/limo etc.
I for one loved our first look and wouldn’t change a thing. That moment between just the two of us was amazing and so emotional. I’m glad that I convinced myself to do it versus sharing that moment with all of our guests. We said things to each other that I will never forget.

Is there at least a place to put up a little tent or something? I saw a beach wedding from far away once and they had a tent that the bride stood in until it was time for her to come out…just a thought! No idea what your venue is like.

I went to a wedding where they were getting married on the steps of a building. The bride rode there in the limo and got out on the far side so no one could see. Once it was time for the bride to walk down the aisle, the limo pulled away and there she was. It was a really cool idea. Maybe you could do something like that.

I think I’ll be carried in in a litter, like Queen Elizabeth I. HAHAHAHA. I think we’re going with our original, more expensive venue, because according to my fiance, getting married in a park is “podunk and redneck”. OMG he is a jerk. lol.
