So I did a walk thru of the venue with my cordinator and Fiance and we realized for photo purposes we might have to do a first look:/ something I totally didn’t want:/ I’m super traditional with the whole seeing me for the first time walking down the aisle but now we have no choice but to do a first look.My wedding is in march starts at 6 pm and the venue sits at a hill n gets dark fast so if we wanted pictures during cocktail hour it’ll be way to dark to capture the venues scenery which is breathtaking. My Fiance loves the idea of a first look beacause of the amazing photos captured which he does have a point, any of you first look brides not feel the magic walking down the aisle after doing the first look??? Can I see some pics of grooms reaction?? I hope seeing some pictures will warm me up to the idea:)

We didn’t do this, but I really love the corner pics, or wall pics. I think that they are a sweet way of kind of doing a first look without doing a first look. I have also seen where they blindfolded the groom so he couldn’t see the bride.
Here are a few examples from Bing:

I dont have any pictures but have looked at posts since Fiance and I were tossing around the idea. I absloutely love the idea of first look after seeing pictures, ive even cried looking at other peoples!!! My Fiance and I decided we could get more pictures and have more time to spend at cocktail hour and reception. I bet you Fiance will have that same look seeing you walk down the isle anyway.

I love the first look photos idea! Why not just have two different people (one being the photographer) and one a good friend you trust to take a good picture take first look pictures of you Fiance when you come down the aisle and snap a few shots of your FI?

Mine was very special. Darling Husband cried the second he saw me.
