Ours was of both of us, although I haven’t gotten all our pro photos back yet. I have seen photos of the groom’s face though. I would let your photographer know that you want photos of HIS face at that moment in particular so you get what you want 🙂

If we do them, I am thinking the way you are.  I would want to see both like bakerella’s.

We had our photographer and his assistant, so they were able to cover more angles. I wish I had more to share 🙁   Definitely having a “must have” shots list for your photographer is a great idea and will be really helpful for them.

Do you have one photographer or two?

We have two, so I am going to request that one captures his reaction and one captures mine. If you have one, I’d make sure to let your photog. know what kind of “perspective” you want in your first look. 🙂

In our short video, the ‘first look’ moment, his expression was captured and it was wonderful!

But I agree with the must-have photo list.  We didn’t do this and I never got a photo with us our either set of parents.  I’m not liking that so much now.

@stephinPA: Agreed, our cinematography caught this as well and I’m SO happy we have it!  Our photograhers actually had us fill out a short survey beforehand of detail shots, must have group photos, etc, thank goodness. I don’t know if otherwise I would have sat down and done it.
