This Thursday is our 1st Month Anniversary, and we want to have a romantic and fun celebration, just the two of us, but since we are on a tight budget, we are going to the movies and then we are cooking dinner together at our place… This is a big deal, Darling Husband does not cook at all and I want to make it fun and easy for him but we also want to have a nice meal… any ideas? Darling Husband is allergic to shrimp, that is the only banned ingredient… we love Chinese, Italian and Japanese food… well, we love FOOD, all of it, and we are Savory food lovers, no Sweets.
nom nom nom, I´m hungry
Thanks for your help!

Can he grill? How about Filet Mignon? It’s not that expensive if you buy it at Costco. He can cook the meat and you make some veggies and a potato dish. Baked, scalloped, mashed….any potato dish sounds good.

One thing that I love (and am actually making tonight) is Chicken Parmesean (sp?). It is very easy to make and yummy! I can’t post the receipe I use because it isn’t online, but it’s from the Better Homes & Gardens Pink Cookbook. I’m sure there are a lot of receipes online for it too, since it’s pretty common.
