Okay so it’s our first month TTC. I’ve been doing some reading/research, but the majority of the info that I know thus far is from my SIL who had her first baby last October. I’ve figured out my fertile days, am not drinking caffeine, taking prenatals and have consulted with my Doctor.
Is there anything else at this point that I need to know/do to help increase fertility. I’ve decided that I am going to begin charting and using OPK next cycle if I get a period at the end of the month.

@chelles07: Sounds like you have it down! I would join Fertilityfriend.com, and read through their tutorials. Maybe pick up a copy of Taking Charge Of Your Fertility?

If you don’t have any real concerns about your fertility, or you’re desperate to get pregnant right away, I’d just have lots of sex and have fun with it for the first couple months.

how did you figure out your fertile days? if you just used an app or online calculator, and if you have a regular cycle (which you’ll only know if you haven’t just come off the pill) i’d add a few days either side to the days they suggest, and then aim to have sex every second day – hopefully you don’t have to worry about charting/OPKs at all 🙂
unless you want to – coz it’s kinda cool to learn what your body does! and it’s much more necessary if you have an irregular cycle.
Good luck 🙂
