Congrats on your BFP! 🙂 It sounds like it’s probably normal. I had something similar at about 5 weeks, and it lasted 3-4 days (on and off). Cramping is normal, everything is stretching and changing already. My midwife said there’s so many hormonal changes happening so suddenly that spotting like this often happens. She was right for me..currently 38 weeks! I did go for an early scan however, because like you I was worried. If it gets heavier or turns bright red, then you need to give your doctor a ring. But pale pink/dark brown spotting is normal in lots of women.

I think it is probably normal. I had that for a few days at nine weeks. There was even some light red spotting at one point. No cramps. I went to the Dr and all was fine. Brown spotting is pretty common in the first trimester from what I understand. Most Drs say red blood and cramping is when you need to worry. Good luck!

It can be normal but only time will tell. In my case light brown spotting at 4 weeks was the first sign of a chemical pregnancy. You may want to take multiple pregnancy tests and confirm that the line gets darker every day. Alternatively, have two blood tests done to see your hcg is doubling!

Spotting is totally normal that early in pregnancy. Keep track of it and if it gets worse, talk to a doc. But I think you’re probably fine! Congratulations!

I totally had this last Sunday at 6 weeks 6 days.  My dr said the cervix is rather friable and asked if we had sex…yup!  I wouldn’t worry about it as long as its not bright red and a small amount.

I had this too – totally normal! Even though you had implantation a few weeks ago, the small amount of blood may just be making its way out. That’s why it’s brown. Brown blood = old blood. Congrats on your pregnancy!

It sounds pretty common.  Have you had sex or anything?  That can make people spot (but it’s still normal).

You really only need to worry with bright red bleeding that gets heavier and is accompanied by cramping.  Congrats and try not to worry!
