Could someone clarify for me please – so the prices advertised on Tiffany’s site for their rings, is the carat weight the total carat weight include side stones or is it the centre stone only?
For example, as per the link: http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/item.aspx?GroupSku=GRP10073&selectedSku=30535898&search_params=param+0/0/0/0/0/1
The price of the soleste emerald cut 1 carat starts at $14,100 – is the 1 carat the total carat weight of all diamonds in the ring or just the centre stone?

I think the total price they display includes setting+diamond. If the price for 0.25 ct centre stone starts at $2,950, that makes me think they charge at least $2000 for just the setting and the remaining is for the diamond.
If you have a Tiffany nearby, go in and talk to them about it.

all T&C rings are sold all in- so the prices are with diamond and all. If you want to look you should call ahead and tell them your price range and they will get more options in for you.

Thank you for the replies all. I’m currently abroad but plan to visit later in the year. Just to clarify
does Tiffany’s sell settings only?
In addition, so they only sell E-rings in platinum or do they offer options with white gold?

If your looking for something similar to a tiffany ring I would suggest getting one custom made. They can make the specs to anything you want and save you some money.

Go to a custom jeweler for a replica, it’ll save you a bunch!

they only do platinum and gold.
no separate settings.

I don’t think they sell white gold, at least i didnt see when we picked mine. I just saw platinum and yellow gold. If it’s silver they don’t consider it an engagement ring. They don’t sell just the settings, and the price varies drastically based on specs. 1 ct emerald soleste starts at around $14k, probably at an I grade color(that’s the lowest they will sell), but can jump up to $20k if the grade is higher
