bowlingallie1989 :  I’d say Chloe, with lining and buttons just like you are planning. It’s great on you!

You look lovely in both but I would wait to try on some more. Neither of those are “wowing” me. I’d really love to see the Calvin on you! Please post pics if you try it!

I second the Calvin! It is gorgeous.

This may be a simplistic view, but I think if you find one that you love as is, it will be better in the end than one you have to alter (besides for fit). You can’t visualize exactly what the Chloe will look like with lining, or what the other one will look like with sleeves. If you love one of the other ones without changes, I think that’s a safer bet. There are plenty of stories of seamstresses refusing to make the changes requested, or it just not coming out as intended.

bowlingallie1989 :  defo the chloe.  As for church get the bodice lined as you said and if your still worried about cleavage as the shop if they can either make a modesty panel or a lace bolero jacket.

    The others look out dated.

Another vote for Chloe! The only other option I like is the Calvin, although I still think the Chloe is likely to be the most flattering for your figure.

Why wouldn’t they have the dress steamed before having you try it on? So lazy. Not crazy about the belt though – it seems to make your torso look very short. The first pic you look great.

I agree with PP: I like it better without the belt as well. But it’s definitely the best dress of all you’ve shown and looks great!

I like it better without the belt too. And it will be nice to see it when it is properly steamed. That said it is very elegant and I love the neckline!
