I cannot stop listening to our first song. It’s a bit unique. It just takes me back to that beautiful moment when I was dancing with Darling Husband. We didn’t choreograph our moves. We pretty much just swayed around in circles! Afterwards I saw my mum, who is incredibly non-emotional, crying! I love these lyrics, her voice, what I felt and what it meant and now means to us. 🙂
I’m sure there has been previous posts about this but I would like people to share.

We danced to “By Your Side”, from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World! It’s a very sweet song, I think it represents us well, and plus we love that it came from our favorite movie!
Here is us dancing to it!

We danced to “Unforgetable” Nat & Natalie Cole. Darling Husband was very adament that the song we chose had to go “both” ways…. couldn’t just be man to wife or wife to husband. lol
sorry the pic is huge… I tried sizing it but it obviously didn’t work. pfft

@Uniquebee77: I’ve never heard that song before. I really like it!!!
@jboltz19: Love that song… that was sort of Darling Husband and my song when we were first dating (we always ended up dancing to it at the first 10 or so weddings we went to as a couple!) and we thought about using it as our first dance. We did dance to it later on in the night.
Our choice wasn’t too original – “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQCY2zL0Jr8) but we felt it fit us. We had fun dancing to it, even though we just made it up as we went along!

“Everything” by Michael Buble. Boring and used a million times, I know! But I didn’t care. I heard it right after our engagement and couldn’t get it out of my head. We totes took dance lessons too. Haha, we had so much fun doing that!
Ps, ignore Madonna boob……I loved my dress but the shape of the dress gave me big ole cone boobs………which I somehow never noticed until my 2nd fitting.

@hisgoosiegirl: That was another song we considered. It’s one of the songs on our wedding video. Your hubby looks a little like Michael Buble!

Our first dance was to “Think of Me” by Rosi Golan
And we had a secret last dance with no one around and we danced to Frank Sinatra’s “Always”. The latter actually being my most favorite moment ever. We danced alone, and to a timeless classic. Ahhhh. It was heaven.
