I don’t think you will have much hair regrowth in 12 days to make it worth it.  You might want to skip the trial if you can’t get in sooner.

Agree with @MrsSaltWaterTaffy: most waxing places say you need 1/4 inch of regrowth before you can wax again.  Only you know how fast your hair growth cycle is, but to be safe, I’d say skip the first wax and only wax a couple of days before your wedding.  There’s really no need for a trial run if you’re using an experienced waxer.  (And take advil beforehand.)  🙂

I went in for my appointment for my first Brazillian on the Wednesday before I got married (on a Saturday) and it was perfect timing!  Hope that helps!

My place won’t let me schedule another appointment until about 6 weeks have passed to ensure there’s enough hair overall to be waxed completely. I think a few days before would be perfect. Then the redness/sensitivity will have subsided and about 99% of the hair will still be absent. My place recommends exfoliating daily after 2 days has passed. For me, after 2 weeks, I already have very short/minor hair growth in certain areas.

I get brazillians all the time and I never go back sooner than a month. If you’re anything like me, you won’t even have any hair down there after twelve days. Also sometimes if you’ve never waxed an area before, the follicle will go into “shock” and the hair will initially start growing back in very thin and white, almost like the peach fuzz on your face, which is really nice. This still happens to me sometimes if I go a really long time between waxes.

I do recommend going at least a week beforehand. My first time I got an acne-like irritation there, which cleared up in a few days. Good exfoliation will minimize the likelihood of that happening.

Having your period won’t cause any harm but it’s possible you might feel more pain.  Just take a couple Advils before to be safe.

I get waxed… skip the trial, if the hair is linger then needed they can trim it… better to see if they might be abe to getin in like a day or two early, because it can be sensitive for the “wedding night”. I would deff take a few advil about 30 min before the appointment.
