I’m 38 and feel more confident in who I am and what I need and want. the only thing is that kids is in the air. Second marriage for Fiance and he has a 7 year old so he’s okay if no kids happen. she’s not completely dependent on us for diapers, and food, etc. But I’m ambivalent about having kids anyway. We probably won’t have kids because you’d think I’d be on that Hell teah I want kids ASAP train At my age but I’m like meh! Where’s our next vacation?! LOL

i didn’t think I was marrying late in life until this post! And seeing 31 year olds bees on here thinking THEY’RE on the late train!! LOL

I just turned 37, and I’ve been engaged 3 times. All 3 were nice enough guys, they just didn’t feel…”right.”

That changed the SECOND I met my fiance, and I’m going all the way with this one haha.

I’m grateful that nothing else in my life had worked out and that it took this long because I really appreciate it and know myself now and know what I want, and he’s it exactly. He shares the same sentiments.

FrenchToastnCoffee :  Yeah, kids is the thing. This will be my fiance’s second marriage but he doesn’t have kids – he very much wants them wth us. Ideally we’d like to wait a while but I have some health issues and I’m getting older…we probably won’t wait too long to talk to my doctors about what meds if any I need to wean off, etc. before we start trying.

Also, I NEVER thought I wanted kids. Ever. No biological clock whatsoever. But I totally want them with him — only with him. And actually I only want one lol but he wants two. We’ll see.
