second lipstick for sure. it goes so well with your skin tone 🙂 for the eyes, I would add a bit of eyeliner (not very heavy since you want natural make up) and try blending eyeshadow better 🙂 and fake eyelashes – great idea – they would make your eyes really pop 🙂 good luck! 🙂

and one more thing – looks like you contoured your face in the cheek area (im assuming it because it looks more like contour color not blush) maybe next time when u are doing your makeup try contouring your face a bit like this http://1.bp.blogspot.com/–4lMdgXkPh8/T_RsI_pHFSI/AAAAAAAAAVs/aVNSCVeJvGo/s1600/kevynaucoin.jpg
it could really make a difference – im also very pale and i do this using brown contour powder (not too dark) and contours my face beautifully. 🙂 dont overdo this but at least try 🙂

I would probably go with a more pink with the blush. The blush looks like it matches your hair color. But I agree with PP, more mascara and/or fake eyelashes.

Oh wow! Thank you all for the replies and great ideas!! I plan on picking up some fake eyelashes soon and practicing more with the eyeshadow/eyeliner. Looks like color #2 is the winner which is great because it was the first color I wanted to try!
I am going to stop by an eyebrow threading place this afternoon to see if they can tame it down but keep the natural shape… can’t get the courage for waxing so I am hoping the threading will be easier to try… wish me luck!
@Elky (sorry the link thing isn’t working) I have a primer and waterproof stuff but don’t really have a finisher.. any recommendations for a cheaper one?
Thanks again ladies! Can’t wait to try again and show you all the results! 🙂

Thanks for commenting on my eyebrows.. I got the courage and motivation to do something about it because of you three! I went and got eyebrow threading done today after work! I wasn’t up to waxing but knew I could probably do the threading. It was red for a little bit but the process really wasn’t so bad!! Here are the results!!
I think they look so much better!! And yet still natural 🙂
This also shows my usual makeup: light powder, some bronze eyeshadow, mascara, and a little lip color.

@Elky: The reply function wasn’t working for some reason earlier but see my reply above please! I have the revlon photoready powder which I think can act as a finisher/setting powder but I really don’t have much of a clue when it comes to makeup so let me know if you have some insight. Thanks!

Looks great! 😀 it’s amazing how much difference a little thing like eyebrows make to a face hehe.
I like your bronze eyeshadow as well ^^

@swimcat14: much better! Now just a little of pop in the eyes and lips #2 !!! FUN!

Your new eyebrows look great, and I like lips #2 and lips #3! I agree that mascara, fake eyelashes, and maybe a little eyeliner would also be great and help your eyes pop.

@swimcat14: Love the updated look and brows! All you need is a more dramatic eye and heavier contouring, and you’re all set!
Oh, and I chose lipstick two like everyone else did. 🙂

@swimcat14: I like lipstick #2 – it’s very fresh and pretty on you! The rest is nice and natural, though I think a soft pink blush would be prettier with this look.

I like #2 best.
Are you planning on more eye make-up? I would definately line your eyes (even with eye shadow and a brush for a softer line) and add lots and lots of mascara after using an eyelash curler. You want to accentuate your pretty blues!! And I love your freckles!
Don’t forget a touch of highlighter in the corner of your eyes and the highest part of your cheek bones. I use ELF that you can get at Target for $1! It really makes your skin pop. They also have an eye lash curler for $1 that doesn’t suck.
I admire you doing this. I love make-up and can do it well but I am terrified to do it on my wedding day. I would FREAK if I didn’t do it perfectly. I know…I’m weird!!

@swimcat14: They look great and still very natural! It’s amazing how changing something so small can make such a big difference! I agree with PPs, go with #2 make-up, with a little heavier eye make-up and false eyelashes or a really good mascara and your eyes will pop!

@swimcat14: This is the site that I use to look up all my makeup inquiries. I don’t wear a lot either but they also have info on cleansers etc. and it can help get the infomation you need and in the price range you want.

I’m so glad I found this thread! I did my first trial of DIY makeup today. I took a picture with a good camera, and none of the eyeshadow, contouring and blush showed up. SO, I applied another layer of everything, and I looked so…DRAMATIC and dragqueenish, BUT the camera image showed up perfect. So my question is…look better natural but washed out on camera OR look like a dragqueen but great on film? Or is there a happy medium that I have to find? Thanks!!
