I went dress shopping with my Mom today to gander and try on dresses. I found what I thought was “the one”(my Mom cried)at the first store. Just as a back up, I went to another store and tried on a few more dresses and had no luck. It wasn’t until the 3rd store where I found two that I really liked. Honestly, since my weight gain, I don’t even recognize who I am and I felt like complete crap in each and every dress. From these pictures I look awful and frumpy and honestly I don’t know what fits best. I was just cleared by my doctor last week that I can start working out, so I will be starting that this week!
I need everyones honest opinions. Please let me know what you think!!! I need HELP!
I apologize that the photos are sideways. I can’t figure out how to rotate them on this board. 🙁

Well it looks like you have quite some time between now and your wedding, so that’ll give you time to work out and feel more confident! I myself have been trying to lose weight and I’m coming up on the home stretch (3 months before the wedding) it’s hard but so worth it.
Do you have a weight loss goal?
The dresses are beautiful princess gowns and you will look beautiful no matter what size you are.
The first one reminds me of a more poofy version of my gown, Maggie Sottero Anniston.

I don’t think you look huge at all. You look toned! I really like the Allure on you 🙂

I don’t think you look huge, I think the dresses you’ve tried on make your figure look great. If you’re worried/upset about it I think you have time to lose some weight. Honestly though I think you look amazing,. I would pick the first dress!

@Missprincessmegs: i think the allure is quite flattering on you.

Ooo, the Allure gown is beautiful on you! Honestly, you dont look frumpy at all!
I use Myfitnesspal.com (they have an app too) to track what I eat/count my calories. It’s a really awesome website, and it’s FREE! I highly recommend using it.
When you start working out, just take it easy. Consistency (working out regularly) is WAY more important than how hard you push yourself. So just start off slow, but keep at it!
For me, right now I just do 15-30 mins of cardio a few times a week. I’m healing from surgery too…so I’ve got a lot of scar tissue that hurts when I work out.
Dont worry about numbers on a scale. For me, the day I ran up a flight of stairs without getting winded, was a totally awesome goal. Keep it simple 🙂

Number 2! It looks gorgeous on you! You don’t look big or frumpy at all, you look sexy and beautiful!

@Missprincessmegs: #3!! I think it just looks gorgeous on you! Of the 3, it’s definitely the most flattering shape.

You look gorgeous and curvy! I saw the title and expected you to be reallly big, but you’re really not at all!! Just curvy lol and sexy don’t worry. I love the third dress on you!!

I think third one is the most flattering cut by far, but I’m not a fan of the top. The first dress makes you look hippy, and the second dress isn’t too bad, but I think the belt cuts you off and just takes away from your figure. Maybe 2 would be good without a belt… Anyhoo, three fits very nicely on you, I just don’t like the design of the top part… honestly, it looks a little like a butt… 😉 I’d suggest find a cut like the Allure and just a bit of a different design up top. However, if you like all 3 of them equally and are just asking which one is most flattering, definitely Allure!
However, if you’re planning on working out/losing weight beforehand, you probably don’t want to buy a dress yet! You might feel completely different in another style down the road. ^_^

The allure looks FABULOUS, so glam and slimming. Very movie star.

I went dress shopping this weekend and tried on 45 dresses! ‘The One’ was dress number 25. I would say your size has nothing to do with it… It’s just that you haven’t found the one that makes you feel a million dollars yet!!
