Tbh I LOVE the ballgown, but I think the trumpet looks fantastic on you too! Could the belt be taken off, maybe? Or possibly it comes in other sizes online?

Get the black trumpet and take it to a seamstress who can put in a black corset back!

lilacjedibride:  um, your boobies look amaze in both dresses!! Haha, seriously though..

I LOVE the ball gown, but I wore a black dress for my wedding so I’m partial to the trumpet. And that shape on you.. Gorgeous! I don’t think you can make a bad decision.

Also, have you thought about getting a dress custom made by a seamstress? They can make just about anything, it will fit you perfectly, in your colors, and it’ll be more cost effective. Check out some of the Etsy threads on here, the dresses are amazing!

    Good luck, bee!

lilacjedibride:  For the record, I love, love, LOVE the trumpet dress on you, but I voted to quest on. Since it feels tight/doesn’t quite fit right in the chest, a corset in the back will not fix those problems and it is much more difficult to take out a dress than it is to take one in.

Since it was from their prom/evening wear department, you could google to see if other companies or the manufacturer make it in a larger size. You didn’t mention it, but if you are planning to lose any weight (I know I am!) The size you tried on could still work for you.

Another option would be to have a lookalike made to your measurements. A lot of bees have had great experiences with online producers. I personally am planning to use a local dressmaker because I am also very non-traditional and have not seen what I want in any stores πŸ™‚ You could see if someone has a shop like that in your area.

lilacjedibride:  I love two and three on you but love two more because I love how it hugs your curves, I think you look so hot! But I think brides should go try on LOTS of dresses until they are 100 percent in love and that you should give yourself that opportunity. Of course you might end up coming back to one of these dresses, because YOWZA!
