so I’m very new to this, and this is basically our first month TTC. I know when I ovulated, and we had BD a few times around that, and today is 10 DPO. For the past few days I feel weird symptoms. I have this weird lower backache, some minor cramps here and there and definitely bloated, and sore/fuller boobs. My period is in 5 days and I dont know if I should even consider taking a pregnancy test now or not ..

10DPO isn’t too early to take a test, but it may be too early to get a positive result. However, if the symptoms you’re feeling are truly due to pregnancy, you should be able to turn a positive test.
I know it’s your first month trying so try to be patient with yourself if it takes a while. Keep in mind that normal progesterone symptoms you experience just before your period are IDENTICAL to pregnancy symptoms. Try not to symptom spot because it will drive you crazy. When I actually got pregnant, it was the one month I was convinced I wasn’t because I felt no different than I usually do, with the exception of what I thought was early AF cramping. I didn’t get pregnant until our 8th cycle of trying, and I tracked religiously each cycle prior to that so I had a pretty good idea of what was going on each month.
Track your ovulation and symptoms, so that way you know what your “normal” is. Take deep breaths. And good luck!!

PP is right. If these symptoms you’re having are really due to pregnancy, you have enough hcg levels to get a somewhat positive test. I got my BFP at 14 DPO, and it was REALLY dark. Like, both-lines-equally-dark kinda dark.
If I was in your shoes, I would take a test now and just see, but if it’s negative, I wouldn’t be so disheartened and I would wait a few more days. Just me though 🙂

thank you so much for your response 🙂 yeah I read a lot that they’re very similar symptoms. I’ll get a test now and do it anyway, if it happens it happens!
thank you for sharing! I guess I’ll take a test now and see what happens. Wish me luck! 🙂
