My two favorites are the lace mermaid and the tulle (#2 & #3). They are very different looks and just depend what look & feel you are going for, but both of them look fantastic on you.

@Quickiebee:  I voted to keep looking. I think you’ll look great in a lot of dresses, but I’d love to see you try on some dresses that are more fitted so that you can get a better idea (since it sounds like you’re not totally loving the ballgown/a line idea now). You’re looking fabulous so far though! I actually like all the dresses on you. 🙂

None of them stick out to me as being unflattering, so I think you’d be fine choosing any of them based on which one you like most. I voted for the tulle natural waist gown in your poll because I think it’s very pretty and “bridal”, but I think part of that is simply because I just personally don’t care much for mermaid style bridal gowns. If you prefer a mermaid/fitted style, it looks to me like you can pull it off.

I voted for the swiss dot for a couple reasons: 1) it’s very similar to my dress, I’ll own my bias now and 2) you have a fantastic figure, but I think you can look a little swamped in the larger more poofy styles.  I think a column or sheath dress, or maybe a very fitted mermaid, would look best because it would show off YOU more!  You gotta wear the dress, not let it wear you 😉  That being said, you look incredible in all of these so you really can’t go wrong.  Have fun!

If I had to pick one I’d choose the lace mermaid. I think the first dress totally swallows you in fabric and is too much.

#1 looks like too much dress for such a slim person. I loved the mermaid and I also think that last one may look good on you. I think you should keep looking since you are a great size it shouldnt be hard to find something gorgeous!

@Quickiebee:  You look fantastic in all of these, so it was definitely hard to pick a favorite.  I ended up choosing the first dress (dropped waist organza) because it’s a little more fitted at the top to see your shape, but has the romantic fullness of a ballgown (which you mentioned you’d started to really like).  My second choice would be a tie between the lace mermaid (is that the Silaba, by chance?) and the A-line lace over mermaid.  (And those were a very close second to the first dress!)

Did one of them stand out to you more than the others?  If not, I might suggest looking at other dresses.  You may never get “the moment,” but you should at least feel very beautiful and confident in the dress you choose!  I love Pronovias gowns and really thought I would end up with one … Instead, I ended up with a Watters gown (and couldn’t be happier with my choice!).  It can be difficult to make a choice with so many gorgeous dresses out there, but I’m sure you’ll find the right one!  Smile
